More than 10,000 diseases have
been examined by the major companies.
At the same time, they are searching
through databases containing millions
of compounds and proteins. N*Bio is able
to empower biomedical companies
by providing high speed grid computing
technology in line with a move
toward SOA.
In the biomedical industry,
N*Bio is currently involved with a listed
Korean biomedical company, Macrozen,
in the development of a network DNA
analysis chip. The chip and N*Bio’s
middleware solution will enable real-time
DNA analysis to be performed by research
institutions, hospitals and universities.
While the current analysis time requires
anywhere around 7~8 hours, the forecasted
goal of this new development will shorten
analysis time to approximately one hour,
enabling faster and more stable analysis
of DNA and the development of various
cures and remedies.
